Genetics essay my Genetic essay will be on heritability, non heritable trait, and purebred, gene therapy, GMOS. These will help me do my genetics essay and teach or tell mr Bowen that I can do my work lol. Seriously my genetics essay will be on this and I will talk about how heritability happens to teach us genetics. Non heritable traits are traits that we don 't get from our parents or from their parents. Purebred is a one breed dog that has no mixture of breeds. Gene therapy is how scientist fix disease by putting bacteria to neutralize the other bacteria. GMOs are genetically modified organisms that happen to be a big deal. Heritability is how we get traits from our parents and grandparents and the ones before them. Heritability deals with how we look and how are cells make us look. When are parents make us we get Dna from them that tell the cells how we will look when we are older and how we look when we are young. We get all of this from our Dna and chromosomes and it will either tell us if we have freckles or not. Heritability shows us how we will look and see if our eyes are green or not depending on the parents and how their eyes are. Non heritable trait is traits that we do not get from our parents. A purebred is a one single type of dog breed like he German Shepard is a type of dog breed. If a German Shepherd is to mate with another dog bred then it is not a purebred anymore. Many purebred as today are expensive since that the dogs have mixed with many other dogs that have already mixed with other breeds. The offspring off the dogs will not be purebred but the one dog that matted and had the offspring is still considered purebred due to that it wasn 't born with different breeds of dogs in its blood. Purebreds are really expensive due to that many dogs are breeding almost everywhere
