Do you ever just like sitting down and watching a well made fantasy movie? Or maybe just a movie in general. Well, there are many directors and screenwriters who make amazing films, with well known actors and phenomenal directors. In my opinion and many others, George Lucas, is one of those directors. George Lucas is well known for his amazing movies, directing, and companies. George Lucas’ amazing passion towards film and writing changed the look of film forever for directors and screenwriters across the world.

He grew up in the small town of Modesto, California in the Stanislaus County. His mother was Dorothy Ellinore Bomberger and his father was George Walton Lucas Sr. George Lucas was an only child, living with his mother and father most of his life. His father was the owner of a stationary store and his mother mostly worked at home. Growing up in the suburbs of Modesto, this inspired George for one of his movies later on in his lifetime. He was absolutely fascinated by the idea of cars and always wanted to grow to become a professional race car driver. In his early days of highschool, George would spend his time drag racing. His dream was soon crushed and destroyed when he was caught up in a tragic and bad accident in a car. George at the time had attended three different high schools, Modesto’s Roosevelt High School, Thomas Downey High School, and Downey High School, all of which are in his hometown of Modesto. A car accident occurred his senior year of highschool on the way home from school. Suddenly another car violently slammed into the side of his vehicle and causing George’s car to flip seven times. The injury sadly gave George more than several broken ribs and two collapsed lungs. George finally realized the danger and brutal effects of car accidents and the serious injuries race car driving can cause him. He changed his mind and reconsidered his dream of race car driving. If the accident that George was in never happened, he would probably never be at where he is today. As brutal and horrific as that car accident was the boost and start of the beginning of the rest of his life. You can probably call the accident a message or even
