The career I chose is geoscientist. The reason why I chose this career is because they can figure out what might happen to our Earth. One thing they do is look for safe areas to build highways that won't be affected by earthquakes. They are kind of the caretakers of our Earth. Another reason why I chose this is because of their skills needed to complete the job. You must be good in math, english, science, engineering, and technology. The person must be dependable and they also must be truthful. A few things that I find interseting about geoscientist is that they can find energy sources like oil and gas and they can find an accepting place for landfills and sometimes nuclear waste.
There are many steps to become a geoscientist. To start, you need to have an interest in geology and Earth science. You must be able to work alone and on a team. Geoscientist must have great communication skills. This also includes writing, listening, and speaking skills. To become an entry level geoscientist you must have a bachelor degree in geology, geophysics, and geochemistry. If you want to work as a geo consultant then you'll need a master's degree instead. In the United States there are universities that provide a geology program.

They do a bunch of cool things for us and our Earth. They study Earth's soil, structures, and other physical aspects. They look for important resources that we use in our everyday life. Those resources include water, oil, and minerals. They can be used for shoes, roads, ink, lotions, and almost everything. Geoscientist also analyze our Earth to predict things like volcanoes and earthquakes so they can evacuate those people from the area. Geoscientist don't just deal with seismic activity, they also look were to build structures like dams and highways so that they won't be affected or drastically affected by seismic activity. They also look for underground water that can be used to make geothermal
