It is not true that Germany deserves most of the blame for the outbreak of World War I. Germany shares the blame with Austria-Hungary and Russia. The three countries deserve to share the blame for the outbreak of the World War I because of the following reasons. The first reason is that Austria-Hungary took advantage of Germany’s support and used it as an excuse to declare war on Serbia. The second reason is that Russia deceived Germany’s trust by mobilizing against Austria-Hungary. The third and last reason is that Germany passed through Belgium’s territory without their permission causing England to get involved in the conflict.
