Global Warming In California Essay

1191 Words5 Pages

This essay will focus on the topic of global warming in California. I will start off by introducing what global warming is and what causes for the effect of global warming to occur. Afterwards, I will shift the issue towards California to talk about the impacts and consequences global warming has on our environment and daily lives. Parts of California will be used as an example to express the complications of global warming. Next, I will clarify what anthropogenic activities enforce the greenhouse effect which will further induce stronger impacts to global warming. Finally, I will talk about what solutions we can accomplish as a community to help our environment to become a safe and friendly biome across the whole world.

The data suggested a high positive correlation between the temperature level rise and carbon dioxide quantity. Carbon dioxide lives for up to two centuries while it absorbs heat. With the global temperature increasing, ice caps will melt into sea water and increase the sea level as well as hurting the habitats of polar animals. Although the events of natural disaster quantities are not increased, the disasters when they strike become more empowered. This research marked the beginning of proving greenhouse gases heating up our earth.
Along with greenhouse gases, there are also forcing factors pressed upon earth from the outside as well as the inside that will naturally change the climate of the earth. The forcing factors that occur outside of earth are called external forcing factors. Some external forcing factors include variations in solar output, orbital variations, and meteors. In solar output, solar intensity given off by the sun strongly influences the conditions of our climate across the globe. It can determine whether or not continental ice is melted into the sea which will increase the sea level extent. In orbital variations,
