Global Warming is a controversial subject that scientists are pledging that if our course as humankind does not change will result in millions of lost lives and the end of the world as we know it (Hoffman, 2016). Global warming is having a great impact on changing from the dangerous storms to acidic sea level. ("The Consequences of Climate Change ," n.d.) What exactly is global warming? What are the effects that are caused by this? What creates global warming? How can we global warming be stopped?
What exactly is global warming? Global warming is when the planet temperature rate massively increases from pollution in the air. Before it wasn’t as much to be a potential problem about since it wasn’t as visible from its effects as we see today.

Scientists discovered what is causing the massive increase, the major source is humankind. A term known as Greenhouse Effect, it means polluted gases trapped in the atmosphere that traps heat. (Denchak, 2016) These Greenhouse Gases such as Methane, Carbon Dioxide, Fluorinated gases, and nitrous oxide. These four key Greenhouse gases are causing pollution in the atmosphere starting global warming. This isn’t just from the effect of humankind, it actually has been going on for millions of years. The largest greenhouse gas in our atmosphere is named carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide makes up 82 percent of the atmosphere as studies show from 2015 through the EPA. The main human activity that emits carbon dioxide is the combustion of fossil fuels for energy and transportations. ("Overview of Greenhouse Gases," n.d.) Carbon is emissions mostly into the transportation, the electricity, and industries making it the most significate used source in modern day life pushing on global warming. It’s used in the most abundant source electricity, “the combustion of fossil fuels used to generate electricity, was the largest single source of CO2 emissions in the nation.” ("Overview of Greenhouse Gases," n.d.). The second most recorded dangerous greenhouse gas is known as Methane. Cows are the most direct cause of methane as well as other solid wastes. Although methane in the atmosphere comes from human activities also that includes in the industry, agriculture, and any waste management activities. Methane was used in the industry during processings, production, and distribution of natural gases. The third most emissioned gas in the atmosphere is known as Nitrous oxide, it makes up five percent of the green house gases within the atmosphere. ("Overview of Greenhouse Gases," n.d.) This is present in the atmosphere with human activities agricultural businesses, fuel combustion, and plays a role in the industry. In the agricultural businesses studies show
