In the past, sports were all about fun, it slowly started to change into the sports we know today. With the rise of social media and other new inventions, things started to spread to everyone; advertisement companies managed to change the sports we know today into a multibillion dollar industry, these sports for example football consist of thousands of players getting payed unbelievable wages.
FIFA, FIBA, and NBA are huge sport associations that try to make their sports both safe and fair for everyone playing and spectating.

When did, technology start to show up in sports?
Technology such as (goal line technology) only started to be used in the recent years. It was used in the FIFA world cup 2014, and it proved to be affective in situations where the referee would be hesitant about the decision.
Technology such as electronic stop watches, and count downs were integrated in sports before the 1980s. And it was the starting point at which everything shifted to greatness.
In 1994 an American engineer developed a way to put a small Bluetooth headset in an American football helmet. This was a start to a new begging in American football, it made it easier for the players to communicate with their coaches and between each other.
Creation of goal line technology? goal line technology was a huge idea that would bring change. The spectators love it! the main point goal line technology was able to bring was fairness. Goal line technology leveled the playing field. And made the game more entertaining, both for the fans and the people playing.
It reduced the chances of false calls by the referee, and till now it was able to surprise everyone with its reliability, it hasn’t even failed once. in conclusion, goal line technology was able to bring us in the future by using state of the art technology. This gives me a clear picture of wat the future of football would look like.
