Goals To Achieve Goals

“There is simply no substitute for hard work when it comes to achieving success”(Heather Bresch). When it comes to achieving goals there always hard work that needs to be done. Most people believe that they do something big by their size or how they look but that not always true when reaching/getting a goal. This can apply to anywhere in life including High school. Going through High school or freshman year will take all the hard work that a person puts into it. Three goal I achieved Freshman year was to maintain a 3.5 GPA, stay in a positive mood, and to be a starter in football and Lacrosse.
Firstly, one goal I achieved was to maintain a 3.5 GPA. An example of achieving this goal I had to do my homework. In all my classes I had to do homework at least once in a class. In my Biology class I needed to start remembering to do my homework or I will fall behind in homework.To achieve this goal I had to do my homework every night and turn it in. One way I achieved this goal is by hard work. In in-season Football I was almost a starter both ways. To maintain this status I would have to practice as if it was a game. Well by working/ playing hard like in a game really helped me get better. Also it got my coach’s attention every time. I also needed to work hard when the Football team went to the North High school weight room. Another way I achieved my goal was by offseason lifting. For example this past winter I trained/weight lifted with my lacrosse teammates. Doing off season lifting improved my strength and like working hard impressed coaches. Offseason weight lifting also allowed me to build charisma among my teammates, which is good if everyone did this. Achieving a starter position in Football and Lacrosse, or any other sport, is what I needed to do is work hard and do offseason
