Graduate Co-op Report Summer 2014 Saurabh Kulkarni SMU ID 42618541 As a part of Summer Internship I worked for a renowned service provider company ERICSSON, Plano, TX. I am working as an Engineering intern with RNAM CSI Operational Excellence & Learning Services department. I am responsible for development of course material which is a part of training towards major telecom customers. The task involves understanding of all the technical aspects of the course and step by step approach towards designing the modules as per the customer requirements. I am responsible for the project deliverables with creation of Web based Learning modules. The modules involved concepts of LTE EPC, SGSN-MME, VoLTE. I am also responsible for maintaining and handling an application which is used in conducting Lab session or hands on experience for customers as a part of training. The major part of my daily activity includes through understanding of technical terms like LTE (Long term Evolution), the detail information about ERICSSON products SGSN-MME. With this as a base I design the course as per the demand and requirement of the customer, which are major telecom vendors. Another task involved was to create Web based learning (WBL) on various topics. This involved understanding the Articulate software for preparing the WBL’s.
