Egypt was a city founded in 2600 b.c. It had many great achievements while it was a ruling city. They had achievements like mummification, pyramids, and hieroglyphics. These were achievements that made it such a great place to live.
The location of Egypt was along the Nile river. They lived here because the Nile flooded all the time and created rich soil for agriculture. Where they were located also gave them isolation from other cities and people. Over time the Egyptian people started to move south and use the other parts of the Nile river. They were also located by the Mediterranean sea and the Red sea. Being by these gave them good trade routes and escape areas.

The pharaoh was also thought to be one of the gods, but also humans. Pharaohs also had control of the entire Egyptian kingdom. They set up a system of hereditary rule, this made power pass from father to son and remained within family. They even set up a system of bureaucracy meaning that there were departments and levels of authority.
Egyptian economy mainly consisted of farming, trading, and conquering. They farmed to have food to eat for the great city they had. Traded with others using the barter system which means that they did not use money. Conquering made their city greater and larger meaning that they had a higher social level than other cities. Other than these three economic strategies, there was no other ways.
Their society consisted of the pharaoh and his royal family, aristocrats, the vizier, merchants artisans, soldiers, scribes, peasants, and slaves. With all of these different levels of people they set up a system call social hierarchy. Meaning that the pharaoh and his royal family were at the top of the list. The slaves and servants were at the bottom of the list. Everyone else was between these two levels of social class. According to the social hierarchy, once you are in one level, you stay in that
