Companies attempt to take advantage of individuals by presenting convincing images and text, so consumers do not have to do their research. The first part of the rhetorical triangle is pathos, which permits consumers to reflect on their personal lives and emotions. Additionally, companies pass on vital statistics about the product through logos. However, the accurate statistics often lie in the fine print, and the consumers usually discern only the fascinating facts.
Consequent to his death, Alexander the Greats empire that he built ruptured into three separate kingdoms, these kingdoms later broke into more smaller states. However, even though Alexander’s kingdom did not last long, his influence did. Alexander the Great formed a huge empire, which spread Greek culture into Egypt and many parts of Asia, and paved the way for new civilizations to develop. Alexander encouraged blending of cultures in areas he conquered, created new cities for example, Alexandria in Egypt. Alexander encouraged people from other parts of the empire to move to these cities and lastly, Cultural Diffusion led to the formation of Hellenistic Culture blending of Greek, Persian, Egyptian, and Indian cultures.
The Hellenistic time period began at the end of the Classical Era; it covers Mediterranean History between the death of Alexander The Great in 323 B.C. and the emerging of the Roman Empire in 31 B.C. The term Hellenistic was used to create a distinct difference from the classical Hellenic period, which came before the Hellenistic period. In the beginning, the city states were weak, disorganized, and their religions/cultures changed vastly due to many years of warfare. Although it seemed that Alexander The Great had immediately changed the empire in many ways, it was not all it seemed. Alexander's empire was rather fragile it was not intended to last very long, perhaps only the length of his life.
An era is born due to the accomplishments of a twenty year-old young man Alexander the Great. A student of Ancient Greek Philosopher Aristotle that seized the moment with the passing of his father, Philip II (King Philip) and took charge. Alexander the great became the leader of the Greek kingdom of Macedonia in 336 B.C. Throughout his short tenure of power which lasted 13 years, Alexander the Great built an empire that stretched from Greece all the way to India. During his time in power and several years after his death, Alexander the Great initiated a variety of change throughout.
Alexander the Great and the Macedonian Empire dominated the ancient world from 336 to 323 B.C. through military force and cultural exchange. The army of Macedonia had achieved an abundance of success due to Alexander's ability to provide his militaries with the best weapons, instill the training needed to perform battle formations and endure battle as well as the attitude needed to overcome adversity such as being outnumbered by the Persians. Alexander the Great was a king of the Ancient Greek kingdom. He accomplished amazing things when he was alive such as uniting Greece, reestablishing the Corinthian league and conquering the persian empire. His legacies after his death then consisted of being a major part of the establishment of a new world based on Greek culture that his followers founded, creating trading routes and cities, and the spread of Greek language. Alexander the Great still has an impact on the modern world as many cities are still named after him, and he spread Greek language, culture and population which influenced the course of history.

Ancient Greece was devided in two periods: Hellenistic and Classical Greece. The Hellenistic period covers the time of ancient Greek (Hellenic) history and Mediterranean history between the passing of Alexander the Great in 323 BC and the rise of the Roman Empire as connoted by the Battle of Actium in 31 BC and the consequent triumph of Ptolemaic Egypt the next year. Classical Greece was a time of around 200 years ( 5th and 4th centuries BC) in Greek culture. This Classical period saw the addition of quite a bit of cutting edge Greece by the Persian Empire and its resulting autonomy. Classical Greece affected the Roman Empire and on the establishments of western human advancement.

Many Roman morals of that time were simply translations and adaptations of Greek morals and philosophy which Romans incorporated into their culture. The elite especially mimicked the viewpoints and ideals of Greek culture, since it was seen as superior (Edwards 2002: 22-24). The historians of the time praised almost all things Greek: playwriters and poets sought to mimic and, in some cases, copy Greek poetry; Greek art was popular in elite villas; and Greek philosophy was studied endlessly (Edwards 2002: 22-24). In this way, Rome organized itself to function morally in a system originally developed within completely different economic and political systems of Greece. From a sexual morality perspective, the Greek system of morality kept women completely under the control of the men, even if the men were away fighting wars or trading with distant peoples.

Greek art continues to play a key role in Literature and Art classes in our modern civilization. Greeks has highly developed literacy, which included drama, poetry, and music.
