Dale Carnegie once said “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed no hope at all” this is a perfect model of both growth mindset and grit. Angela Duckworth and the research on the grit by Emily Hanford speak on various events that take place where individuals that are gritty succeed academically and overall in life. In the article Handford speaks on different occasion where students have taken grit test. A scale where you rate yourself on a series of 8 to 12 items , During this test Duckworth has found that a person’s grit scale is highly predictive of achievements when things get challenging.
