People that have grit are 60% more successful than people without grit. Having grit means working hard when life is hard and never giving up. Grit is not what you do to achieve your goals it's how hard you work for them. Grit is never giving up through hard times, determination to work hard and courage through obstacles in life. Having grit leads to success in many ways. This quality shows grit because it can help people not give up even through the hardest times. One example of Mike Ditka doing that is “ When the Bears were down 14 going into the 4th quarter Mike Ditka made a speech to his team about never giving up and they didn't give up and won the game”. Never giving up leads to success because even if you are not doing the best in something and you give up you will never be able to get anything done.
