Article by: Louisa Wilcox Yellowstone National Park this year has passed the previous record that was in 2010 for total annual visitation. The park has seen more than 3.8 million visits for this year alone, which passes the previous record in 2010 for the busiest year of 3.6 million.
Yellowstone has hosted a total of 680,213 recreational visits in September, an increase of 18.97 % compared to a September total of 2014 numbers. Octobers numbers bring the total up to 3, 814,178 recreational visits in the first 10 months of 2015, which is 15.97% over 2014.
