I think Adam and Eve wouldn’t know where to start on a shopping tree. Growing up with the progression of Amazon there was time to learn ho it works and incorporate new offerings into life. For instance, there was a time when university bookstores were a necessity and now it can all be done on amazon cheaper. That change over time allows people to appreciate what Amazon brings to the table, but when the day comes that there is no university bookstore, Amazon’s service may be taken for granted. Also, amazon requires a basic understanding of what you want and how to compare other things to the ideal product. Adam and eve may want a thing but get stuck learning about every other thing and not accomplish what they set out to get. Or it might be the opposite. They may know exactly what they want and get it. The shopping experience amazon creates could be lost on them. Its similar with the older crowd. There’s a level of understanding you need to have or commit to learning in order to take full advantage of this technology and a lot of times its too big of a hassle to justify its benefits. …show more content…

Unlike AltaVista, Google focused more on content than it did on a traditional computated result. AltaVista and search engines like it were tag based driven, when if the link has a word you searched for, it shows up. Googles algorithm went beyond traditional computing and more towards the mindset of human intelligence. Websites shown first exist where they do because enough people have decided that the link is closest to what they came to the search engine for. They went beyond what wed consider basic technology and added a more human element into it;
