An event is described as an activity that demands for enormous planning for individuals to come together for specific needs. The Gulls Softball Association intention to have a Denim and Diamonds themed event is an important step in planning for an event. The event is aimed to be corporate in nature as it is being organized for an organization. In order to realize the association needs and preferences, having identified the type of event they need, the organizer has the responsibility to consider a number of factors when organizing for the event this should include the 5 phase event model. The first phase in organizing for an event is critical for the organizer as it involves conducting some research to establish critical information necessary in organizing for the events.
Conducting a research using the 5 W's is essential in providing the guidelines on how the organizer should plan for the event.
