Nowadays the guns people hold aren’t the weapon. Today our gun control is high, but for some people it’s not high enough. Gun control is demanded to be stronger and more strict.
They have amazing reasons why, but they leave a key factor out. The key factor is that guns don’t shoot themselves. People with bad intentions, mental minds, bad behaviors are the ones who hide behind a gun for violence. A lot of people have guns illegally, which is a major issue because it leads to more violence,murders, and deaths. The laws shouldn’t be focused as much on the gun control, but into the reasons why people are killing. The biggest countries with the highest gun control are the ones who have the most deaths from guns.

A murder will never go to a police station because everyone there is heavily armed. It is very rare to see on the news that someone shot up a police station it’s just not smart in the murderer's mind. A killer would rather go to a place where it’s most vulnerable and where it could be more harmful like a store without security or a school. Some teachers have guns in secret to protect their students. Also a gun attack can happen anywhere on the streets, some people rely on a gun to defend and protect themselves if they do not have that then there’s almost a no chance of survival from a killer states the article “Gun Control Doesn’t Work”. How I was saying that defending is a huge role in gun control that’s what people don’t understand. People don’t understand that others rely on a firearm for protection for not just themselves but people around. Police officers can’t be every at once. There will always be that period of time where there is no police or security around to protect. If it gets even harder to purchase a gun than how it already is, then people will just stop trying which leads to less people being able to defend their property,family, and others.
