Due to my passion to help stop gun violence, I decided to do project, on preparing an effective gun violence speech more specifically formulating a speech for President Barack Obama. In this month alone in the United States, we have had more than three counts of mass shooting and of October 21st 2015, there was also another mass shooting in the United States. With so many shooting and death totals, gun violence has because a novelty because everyone citizens, public and the media all have their versions or opinions to the current situation. With gun violence being widespread, there are numerous accesses to information’s regarding gun in general and due to numerous accesses to information’s, the interested party has accesses to either conduct or explore a research.
Good Evening Mr. President first of all I would like to thank you for picking me as your special advisor for the democratic party. Currently in the United States there are countless amounts of issues taking place but, the most important at the moment is the issue on crime and gun violence. Gun violence is a very heavy topic to talk on and there will be numerous people who would love to hear restriction put on guns and then there will be some who would hate gun restriction laws. I have recently read a book by Chris Matthews called Hardball: How Politics Is Played Told By One Who Knows The Game. In this book, Mathews gives several political tips which can help you gain support from the American people on the issue of crime and gun violence.
It’s so much going on in the world now. I’m a student in high school that’s trying to make a change. I’ll love to stop the gun violence and crime issue. Because citizens are losing their lives physically or going to prison. It will take somebody great to stop all of this.
I stand here to today, with deep sorrow and remorse for the ones we have lost. I stand here today with my head hung in shame for what this so called “great” nation of America has become. 2 days ago, only 2 days ago our daughters and sons have lost their lives to the devil looking down upon us, to the devil of gun violence. Only two days ago, I lost my daughter Chloe and my son Timmy to gun violence. October 1st, 2015 will be a day written down in history as just “another” school shooting.
he famous quote by Gandhi “be the change you wish to see in the world” always impacted me as a child. I always wanted to make a difference, seize the world and hold it in my arms even cuddle it to make it better. I grew up looking up to politicians like Presidents George Bush and Barack Obama and wish I could be like them one day, help people in need and say something when it is not right. Now as a young adult I look at the issues that have been happening in this country and think “How many children need to die before something is done about this issue?”Which is why this whole walkout is idiotic.
My fellow Americans, I would like to thank you all for coming out today to listen to me speak on behalf of the future. America, the future is now. I want to strive in making a major impact on our country. Being President of the United States comes with a lot of responsibility. With all this responsibility, I want to make certain that America is the best it can be.

Ever since the inception of this country 240 years ago, guns have been an integral part of the American identity; a sense of lawlessness, individualism, personal autonomy and freedom. They were the tools that liberated us, and gave us independence over a tyrannical, unrepresentative empire. However, in more recent years, these tools have been used more and more frequently in mass shootings, some of which are occurring at schools, targeting teachers and children. Since the infamous shooting at Columbine High School 19 years ago, we have had several shootings at schools, and we tend to get “thoughts and prayers”, a gesture with good intentions, but little actual progress made. This problem can be contributed to the increasing power of guns, and a lack of mental health coverage, gun
Imagine sitting in a classroom laughing at a joke your friend made, or planning on going to the movies after school, or even listening to someone’s persuasive speech essay. When suddenly someone bursts through the door with an automatic weapon in hand. You and your friends run and hide in the corner of the classroom, you are all afraid that you will never be able to see the faces of your friends, teachers, or family members ever again. How could something like this happen you may ask? It happens often because of how lenient gun laws are in America and something needs to change.
I believe during my speech my audience was in odd and in disbelieve as well as surprised due to the fact that, I myself was a victim to gun violence and the general realization of the impact that gun violence has in the U.S. as well as the medical cost and the amount of gun circulating the country. I definitely also believe that my audience felt very informed after hearing my speech and now have a better understanding of guns and their effects in the
