The Different of Hardships of an Immigrant Child Central American countries are very poor and that affects almost everybody including the children. Children from these parts of the world have a hard time so sometimes they have to move out of there home country just to have a better life. They travel alone without any adult with them because their parents might be in the U.S.. They face hardships in their home country, in the journey coming to the U.S and when they get to the U.S. Some of the hardships they face are gangs, immigration officers, and and missing their family and friends. As americans we can say that we have a great access to law enforcement, but some country don’t have the same fortune. In Central America drugs, gangs, etc, are big problems for central americans and their children. They can be endangered in every step they take outside of their homes. They escape their home country to get away from these type of things. In these type of countries children and sometimes their families escape because they are threatened by gangs of getting murdered if they don’t join their gang or if they own money. They start to feel homesickness and depressed because they know that they probably won’t see their family or friends ever again. If coming from a country that is unsafe and a war-zone, visits are not always accessible and worries about their family’s safety will always be on refugee’s minds. By being overwhelmed with sadness and longing to be with loved ones this doesn’t assist in making life easier.” In short, immigrant children will start missing their family and friends and make them sadder than they already which does not help in the situation they are
