Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is about two opposing houses, Capulet and Montague, and two of their children, Romeo and Juliet as the two rub elbows at a Capulet party and instantly fall in lust for each other. After a few nights Juliet coerces Romeo to marry her, unfortunately, an hour later Romeo is exiled by Prince from their hometown Verona and Juliet's family wishes to marry her off to another gentleman by the name of Paris. To escape this marriage in an attempt to stay loyal to Romeo, Juliet fakes her own death, when Romeo finds her he believes her to be truly deceased, unknowing that she is alive he takes his life, and when Juliet finds out about this she truly takes her life to be with him. In the end, Prince blames the deaths on the hate and anger of the two families. …show more content…

When the discord between the two houses turned to violence in the peaceful streets of Verona, they are threatened with a persecution that would affect, not just one, but both of the families in their entirety. With the hate that both families contain for each other, they get into quarrels on a fairly regular base.
