Monster essay There are a lot of people who make bad decisions. Steve Harmon just happened to be one of them. Monster is a book written by 16-year-old Steve Harmon. Who got accused of a crime, that also ended up in in murder.

You actually understand them.” Steve Harmon was on trial for murder. He was a 16 year old boy who got charged for murder in New York City and he didn’t do the crime. In the novel, Monster, by Walter Dean Myers, Steve Harmon was a good person because he was not guilty and he cared for others.
In The House of the Scorpion, Matt, the main character, has very few friends. Most people in the book hate Matt just because he is a clone, but as we learn towards the end of the book there is no difference between a clone and a human. Matt is very close with the friends he does have, those friends are Tam Lin, Celia, and María. Those friends have helped Matt with many different things and loved him through all of them. Of all the characters in The House of the Scorpion, María is the best friend to Matt because she makes him truly happy, which is something nobody else in the book does.

She is a very strong girl and lives to support her family.

In the science fiction book Warcross by Marie Lu Emika is a struggling bounty hunter, but when she hacks into one of the biggest games in the world, Warcross, she ends up getting hired to track down a hacker by the games creator, and is added to one of the games professional teams. Throughout the novel the theme of things aren’t always as they seem especially when it has to do with technology is represented in the dark world, Emika’s hacking, and in peoples unknowing connections through the internet. She brings courage to her family by looking past all of the terrible things that happens to a poor black family. To the Logan family, their land is very important and no one is going to that pride from them no matter how other may degrade them. In the story, the main character Cassie is very stubborn.
