1) What is the big picture of America’s health care industry?
The big picture is that America’s health care industry is tremendously expensive with countless loopholes. I think that it is all about capital and whether you are qualified, they will always find something for you to pay more or get rejected. Furthermore, the system needs complete overhaul, though it is easier said than done. What is broken will never be fixed as long as the people governing only think about profits.
2) Is our private health insurance system working?
As of this time, the new system that was passed by Obama is gradually working. Though it’s very new, I am optimistic that it will continue in this pathway. Otherwise, it will just prove that the system is all about money.

As what Karen Ignagni, Pres. & CEO, America's Health Ins. Plans stated in the video, “… And from a perspective of productivity, social policy, and what is the right thing to do, we need to prioritize health care reform and we need to do it urgently.” In the video, the summit participants, like the doctors and hospital and small businesses, etc., all agreed that they would lend a helping hand and they are primed to reform the healthcare system. Furthermore, people in the video are joining forces to work together for a solution. The question is, are we absolutely optimistic that the reforming of health care system attainable? Medical technologies are advancing faster than we speak. Our national debts are skyrocketing to $18, 415,164, 260, 507 and counting. If all work together as people pledged for the greater good of everyone, yes, it is attainable! I am not optimistic that it will be in five years. There are lot of factors and research to do in so little time. Healthcare reform is not an overnight solution as the U.S. healthcare system programs were not universal to start
