Health care leaders consider systems thinking to be important in creating an influential and successful healthcare organization as working in silos is no longer going to serve the technologically connected health care world (Delaveris, 2014). Leaders have to have a vision of bigger picture and joining the smaller jig saw puzzle pieces together. Various departments are interconnected and interdependent on each other as compare to before. Various stakeholders have to be involved and system thinking has to be incorporated in day-to-day routine of doing things to create a sustainable health care system.
