J.K. Rowling is the most well renowned and accomplished author ever! She came from a humble beginning, rose up through her tribulations, and went on to become the richest author in the world. J.K. Rowling has made many accomplishments throughout her life, including the creation of my favorite book series, Harry Potter. On July 31st, 1965, Joanne Rowling was born in Winterbourne, Gloucestershire.
Famous chef: Julia Child Julia Child was a Chef, Television personality and Author, she is most know for bringing the French cuisine to the public with her books and television program on PBS and being one of the first women to cook on television and out of the home kitchen. Julia Child I belive truly changed the way cooking was looked at and made it enjoyable to do and watch. Julia was born in California, her family mostly all cooks yet she didn’t enjoy cooking, standing at a whole 6 foot 2 inches she ended up doing a lot of sports up until she graduated high school. Miss Havisham was left by her husband to be during their wedding, and from that day she decided that she didn’t want to be the only one to feel pain, so She adopted a girl named Estella. Miss Havisham used her to break mens are heart but she had to be taught first. Not to mention, one of the men was a man named Pip. He was starting to fall for Estella, but she turned him down and she made Pip lose respect for who he was.
Anne Boleyn was born in 1507 and died May 19, 1536, in London, England. She was the second wife of King Henry VIII of England. His first wife was Catherine of Aragon and by marrying Anne Boleyn he broke with the Roman Catholic Church. Anne Boleyn’s father was Sir Thomas Boleyn, later known as the Earl of Wiltshire and Ormonde. Anne spent part of her childhood living in France but later returned to England in 1522.

Agatha did not necessarily have a rich family, but her family was wealthy enough to live without worry. She taught herself how to read at the age of five.
Edgar Allan Poe is the father of the detective story. Vidocq inspired Poe; he published The Murders in the Rue Morgue. In Poe’s The Purloined Letter, he introduces C. Augustine a detective that has superior knowledge and has an impeccable eye for observation. Agatha Christie began writing detective fiction while she worked as a nurse during World War I.
Helen Beatrix Potter was an English author conservationist, natural scientist, and illustrator best known for the 24 Tales series of animal books that featured the character Peter Rabbit. Beatrix was born in Kensington, London to Helen and Rupert Potter in 1866. Beatrix and her younger brother Walter Bertram loved to paint and draw, and would make many sketches of their pets that included bats, snakes, lizards, frogs, mice, and rabbits.
