How Helicopter Parenting is Unhealthy
Helicopter parenting is hurting children. Studies have shown that when parents don't let their kid fail, the kids cannot make everyday decisions. Helicopter parenting is harmful to children because it causes depression and anxiety (“Helicopter parenting may negatively affect children's emotional well-being, behavior”).
Helicopter parenting is known for causing depression. Studies have shown that children show struggle with self worth by the age of ten. It is very young to even be thinking about this subject. Most children don't worry about self worth till they are in their teens. This could lead to suicide or other harmful things (“Helicopter Parenting: The Consequences”). This is damaging, therefore should stop before anything gets worse than it already is.

As these children mature and age, they are going to struggle even worse with anxiety. These children will be missing out on their full potential (“Helicopter Parenting: The Consequences”).
Children who fail learn from their mistakes, unlike others who never get to know what is right or wrong in life. This can give the children anxiety about every little move they make. Helicopter parenting can lead kids to anxiety worse than most.
Some people say "It gives the children a good and steady life." However they are not thinking about when they will move out and go live their real life. They then struggle with even the tiniest decision about what to eat or what to wear. Everyday decisions become a struggle (Schwartz and Lisitsa).
Helicopter parenting is known for giving children anxiety and depression. Helicopter parenting can emotionally damage kids. This brings an overwhelming amount of pain and confusion that is not healthy. This is how helicopter parenting is unhealthy.
