In the American world, many African Americans are living in or below the poverty line and they struggle to meet basic needs. The poverty rate for black people in the US is about 29 percent which is more than twice the amount compared to white people. Blacks represent about 13 percent of the population in the U.S. but 23.8 percent of the poverty population. This is because of discrimination, inequalities, unemployment, and the neighborhoods they live in don’t have strong jobs where they can make lots of income. People have tried helping black communities but have failed because they need support from people so that it can be efficient. I have made a plan that may work and be efficient. There is a lot of discrimination and inequalities that give them many disadvantages. There is even work discrimination where some people might not want to hire them or treat them differently because of their skin color. The place where they live also has an effect because there aren’t many jobs that provide lots of income around so it's difficult for people to make a living off of these small jobs. Black Americans have only ten cents for every dollar in wealth that white families have. Black people have the lowest unemployment rate which is about 10 percent. My company will try to focus on the community so that we can make the environment around better. We will host events where anyone can go and help around and we can make the community safer and better. In doing so we can ensure safety for everyone around and it is a better way to connect communities. This will improve the quality of life for the people in the community and there should be more productivity and an increase in employment rates.
It is often said that a connected community is stronger than a single person. That said, my plan to stop black poverty is to spread awareness on the issue of poverty and gather as many supporters as I can. Then I will try to make rallies where I talk about the situation that African Americans in poverty struggle with and show people how they can support them. I will also
