The Ford Motor company got its start in 1903. Known for the F-150 truck that doesn't just raise the bar, "it is the bar, pal", Ford has grown into a revolutionary transportation company. Henry Ford started the car company that changed the world. Where does Henry come from? Why did he start Ford Motor company? To find the answers, we don't to drive very far. Henry Ford was born in 1863 on his family's farm. It didn't take Henry long enough to figure out that he didn't want to work on the farm. Henry built his first car in the shed behind his home. It was called the Quadricycle Henry Ford saw Thomas Edison in 1896. Edison told Ford to build another model. In 1908, Henry Ford created the "Tin Lizzie". In addition to availability for consumers, it was also made jobs available. Ford offered $5 a day for almost doing nothing. Putting 8 hours a day, you would earn $30 for 48 hours. And for less work as well. By the time of its "death" in 1927, fifteen million Model Ts had been built and sold. In the Great War, the Model T proved to be valuable to the medical staff. As ambulances, they could rush to the scene on point. On horse-drawn carriages, it might have taken some time to get to the emergency place. The Model T changed the course of this war. The medical aspects of the war would have changed dramatically if the Model T were not around. Henry Ford was not the man that everyone thought him to be. He followed the steps of the Nazis and was extremely anti-Semitic. Ford actually published a newspaper about his views. Ford supported the Nazis in Germany. But despite his anti-Semitic views, he tried to help the working class. He hired the working class, and offered jobs to everyone. He offered different styles of the
