Good Morning/afternoon teacher and students.
Today I will be talking about the importance of “Ford T model” and how it changed the industry of perspective around the world.

Who created the invention?
Henry Ford did not invent the automobile or assembly line. He did, however he changed the world by using an assembly line technique to produce cars which could be affordable. He did this by producing the inexpensive Model T, a car which took the world by storm and was a significant invention during the Industrial Revolution.

Where/when was it created?
On October 1, 1908, the ford t model know as “tin lizzie” (was nick named by americans) was released from 1909 to 1913. The first production Model T Ford is completed at the factory called “Company's Piquette Avenue plant” in Detroit. His invention of the assembly line and his five-dollar a day wage for the average worker brought about a total new change in factories. (why was it invented?)
It was Henry Ford’s dream to democratise the automobile by not only making it available to the rich but to everyone. He had an attraction for the common people, to make their life easier and it’s easy for people to travel from place to place. He set up the model t the first car to be affordable for majority of Americans.

How did this invention work?
This T model consisted of a large range of models including several body styles and included a range of colours, but the most popular being black. The engine for this model (four-cylinder engine) generated 20 horsepower and reached high speeds of 65-70 km/h. The majority of the T model consisted of a hand crank to start the engine, but after 1920, the model also included battery-powered starters. The car also included 2 forward gears and one reverse gear which was for the transmission and controlled with foot
