Henry Ford presented a solution in the 1920s when he was mass producing the Ford automobile. People were buying fords like crazy at that time and he needed a way for the automobile to be made faster and more efficient. With that in mind he came up with the assembly line. So using his knowledge about automobiles he made the assembly line work to the best of his abilities. With this new invention Henry Ford was able to produce mass amounts of parts and cars. People would stand at their assigned position and do their job before that particular part was passed to the next person.
