Hercule's Extreme Feats, Physical And Mental Suffering

Gregory's statement perfectly fits Hercule's character, because of the powers that he had, and who he was descended from. Next, Hercules had to go through the 12 labors, a grueling task to do so. To explain how this shows physical suffering, Hercules had to go through labors such as The Erymanthian Boar, the Cretan Bull, and The Nemean Lion, all strong creatures that he had to defeat. Lastly, Hercules had a bad and physically grueling death(History.com). To explain this death, Hercules had gotten poisoned and decided to build himself a funeral pyre and burn himself to death. To explain how this is royalty since he is a Greek god and one of the 12 Olympian gods, he is pure royalty. Secondly, his mother was Alcmene, the Granddaughter of Perseus. (tehoi.com). To add to the fact that Alcmene is royalty on top of being the granddaughter of the demi-god Perseus, Alcmene is also the princess of Mycenae. Lastly, Hercules showed the fact that he was their child. To explain how he did this when he was just a baby, Hera sent two serpents to kill him, but instead, he strangled them, showing that he had the powers of royalty and was their child.
