I chose IHOP because the food is good, but it is mostly good only for eating breakfast. I also chose this restaurant because I have a lot of memories going there with my family, like almost every week coming out of church, we would go to IHOP to eat breakfast. I remember when we went I would order the same thing every time, which is, the Rooty Jr. and my parents would tell me to order something else because I would always order the same thing. Every restaurant has a history, so does IHOP. It was founded in 1958 by Al and Jerry Lapin with the help of Al and Trudy Kallis, the first ever IHOP was located in Toluca Lake, California. By 1992 there were already 500 restaurants which was a lot, not only in the U.S. but around the world. Over the past years the 1000th IHOP opened in 2002, Layton, Utah. IHOP knows how to make their pancakes unlike other restaurants i’ve been to, their pancakes are soggy or burnt. I have memories of how I used to go every sunday and my dad would always order these pancakes and we would share them. The part I like is that you can add fruit on them like strawberries or blueberries. I like how the fruits’ flavor tastes when it mixes with the syrups they have and how they make the pancakes taste good. The syrup isn’t only the original old syrup, they have strawberry, blueberry, butter pecan, and boysenberry flavored syrup, which is kind of cool because some people just get tired of the same flavor all the time. My favorite syrup was the butter pecan one because the pancakes tasted good when it was on the pancakes. Now I will talk about the Ham & Egg Melt which in my opinion is really
