In 1910, Branch Rickey coached a college team with one black player. That player, Charley Thomas, was refused a hotel room with the team and had to sleep on a cot in Mr. Rickey’s room. Charley was emotionally distressed and he could not sleep. He tried to scratch off the skin of his own hands, wishing he were white, so he would feel as good as anybody.
Hello my name Harry T Burn I was borned on November 12 1895 in Niota in the lower tennessee valley. I am the reason that women can vote now On August 18, 1920, it appeared that Tennessee had ratified the amendment--the result of a change of vote by me at the age of 24 at the insistence of my elderly mother still sporting my red boutonniere but clutching my mother’s letter which read as followed:“Dear Son, … Hurray and vote for Suffrage and don’t keep them in doubt. I noticed Chandlers’ speech, it was very bitter. I’ve been waiting to see how you stood but have not seen anything yet…. Don’t forget to be a good boy and help Mrs. Catt with her “Rats.”
I’m here today to support Andrew Jackson and persuade you’ll that he should be placed on the twenty-dollar bill. Jackson was the 7th president of the United States and was born near the border between South and North Carolina on March 15, 1767. Jackson was the third child his parents had. His father, Andrew, passed on as the aftereffect of a logging incident only a couple of weeks before the future president was conceived while both of parents were Scotch-Irish immigrants. Jackson was known to be the first “self-made man.”

Do you like being told to do something that you are not comfortable with? No, I'm guessing you don't, nobody does so why should you?
He warns Americans to be suspicious about anyone who is trying to weaken our minds, weaken bonds that hold the constitutional union together, and just people who want to do wrong to the nation. He also urges us to focus our efforts and affection to the country above all other interests. He tells us to stay united even with our differences. That as long as we are in unity, we can do great things. With combined effort and resources can help and protect us from a foreign attack.
I am sure we all remember why we sailed on a voyage across the Atlantic and went through many hardships. That is so we can live in a land where we all can start a new life with better opportunities. But is that what we really have? It is clear that King George III is not treating us how he would treat his citizens when we are still his people. He’s ignoring our complaints and needs and is making up laws that are unfair and brutal. Remember how hard we fought in the French-Indian War.
Have you ever heard of a Zeppelin before? Zeppelins were big air ships, but not like blimps, that had luxurious cabins like the Titanic. Except you would not get sea-sick or air-sick (unless you were afraid of heights). Zeppelins were more famous than even the president back in the mid 1930’s. But a huge zeppelin by the name of “The Hindenburg” crashed and destroyed all hope of people ever riding anymore zeppelins again.
He was saying that he will refuse everything bad about humanity and also everything that is racist. He is repeating because he’s trying to convince the people about this and also trying to convince white people to stop being racist and all that. He just didn’t want any more violence on blacks. Also he was saying that everyone was created with equality not different. Also he was saying that it’s bad that racism is going on.
Terrorism against the nation will not stand. Freedom will be defended. America is not alone to fight terrorism; other loving-freedom nations will join. President Bush promised that justice would prevail. America will purge and punish those responsible for these acts.
In this speech by Hitler, he talked about his hatred for the Treaty of Versailles and how he planned to abolish it. By the time he presented this speech, World War 2 was already well underway. Hitler spoke about how he hated the Treaty of Versailles and how much he would want to get rid of it even before he gained power. He talked about how it was an injustice to Germany and how it was created to destroy Germany. Hitler was very proud of Germany and wanted Germany to become the powerful country it once was.
For Americans that love how critical America is around the world, Trump’s presidency has shaken things up. It is true that he campaigned on the idea that he was not a politician. He boasted that he would change things for America and put American interests first. To many of us this meant that as a nation we would stop trying to pay for other nation’s troubles. For decades it seems that as America got wealthier and prospered, we also took on the responsibility to protect weaker nations.
Dear Bill Cosby as a child I use to watch your show almost every day as a child, I always thought your show was the best. I first saw you in a movie California pursuit with Richard Pryor when I was seven years old then, a few months later I saw you on the Cosby show know I admit when I saw your show your wife was the only reason I watched your show. But as I kept watching your show I realized that your show was great from the acting to the purpose of the show. But as I got older for some reason your show disappeared and you vanished so as I got older I thought you died so moved on. Almost 10 years later you resurfaced again, but it was for committing a crime.
The fight for change never stops within one generation. As Baldwin concludes, “In this long battle, a battle by no means finished,” Change must be passed down to the future generation to let them know their existence is accepted in the world. As you get older I wish that you become more culturally aware. That everyone's viewpoint doesn't have to align with yourself. Not everyone can be the same, neither can their identity.
The confederate flag is not racist, the civil was wasn’t about slavery until about halfway thru. Anyways it’s my first amendment rights if I want to display the flag in my front yard. And it doesn’t even stand for slavery I stands for a country that wanted to have its own rules and government. Robert E. Lee the general of the confederate states army didn’t even like slavery he was just fighting for his country’s rights to be their own nation. If you think slavery was bad George Washington owned slaves and people think he was the greatest president
"Do you know why most survivors of the Holocaust are vegan? It's because they know what it's like to be treated like an animal,” as said by Chuck Palahniuk, the man himself. The term Holocaust has been studied by many different sceintists for over 30 years and The holocaust was a very murderous event killing over 11 million people. The man who lead the very murderous event was Adolf Hitler. In some schools, the teachers try not to even bring up the holocaust because they try to forget about it.
