Ashley Horus: The Sky God Horus was one of the most important deities in Egypt. Horus was depicted as a man with a falcon head. Horus wore a double crown also know as a red and white crown. The rulers of Egypt were "followers of Horus." He was one of the earliest Egyptian gods. Horus was worshiped as the god of the sky, hunting, and war. He was considered to also contain the sun and the moon. His left eye was the moon and his right eye was the sun.
