Deserts There are deserts all around the world, and that is what I am going to be talking about. There is one dessert which takes up ten percent of Africa. The name of that desert is the Sahara Desert and it is a subtropical desert. Australia has the most deserts. The deserts in Australia are some of the biggest deserts in the world. The names of those desserts are the Great Sandy Desert the Gibson Desert the Simpson Desert the Tanami Desert, and the Great Victoria Desert. Even the United States of America has deserts. The Mojave Desert and Death Valley are right here in California.
Hot Desert climates usually feature hot,sometimes very hot periods during the year.
