Bruno Richard Hauptmann indeed killed Charles Lindbergh Jr. Charles Lindbergh was a famous aviator, he was the first solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean in 1927, he was an international celebrity. He was born February 4, 1902, in Detroit, Michigan. His wife, Anne Morrow Lindbergh, was born June 22, 1906, in Englewood, NJ. Charles Lindbergh Jr. was born, June 22, 1930 in Englewood, NJ. The Lindbergh Family had lived in Hopewell, NJ. On March 1, 1932, around 9:00 PM the kidnapper climbed into the Lindbergh’s home and abducted Charles Lindbergh Jr. and left a ransom note demanding $50,000. There were many more ransom notes found demanding money throughout that case of the crime. The police also found muddy footprints by the window sill at the crime scene that were left by the kidnapper, who I think was Bruno Richard Hauptmann.
