9-11 influence me by all of those good Americans who died from the attack. And it also influenced me because I never got to see the world trade center in real life before it was destroyed. And the world trade center is something that I really wanted to see because of how unique it was. The world trade center is now a part of our history and will be in everybody’s hearts forever.
Just thinking that one of your family members could be dead right now if one flight wouldn 't have been canceled is kind of a scary feeling. 9/11 changed America forever and it will never be the same. Many people sat in front of televisions and radios listening hoping there loved ones would come home. Some even expected calls. Al Qaeda attacked the WTC for many reasons.
Two planes hit the twin towers. Flight 175 and flight 11. Flight 175 took off at 8:14 AM, and flight 11 took off at 8:13AM.Flight 175 had 64 people on it and flight 11 had 92 people on it. Everyone thought it was just going to be a normal flight, but little did they know that that that was going to be the end of their life. 9/11 is all about two planes hitting the twin towers.
At 8:47 am flight 11 hit the north tower causing terrors in all of U.S.A. everyone thought that that was going to be the only hit but they were wrong at 9:02 flight 175 hit the South Tower. 9/11 was the worst day in US history. The day started when flight 11 left BOS (Boston International) for LAX (Los Angeles International). Then 14 minutes later flight 175 leaves BOS for LAX. 7 minutes later flight 77 leaves IAD (Dulles International) for LAX.

Pearl Harbor and 9/11 were both attacks against the United States occurring on United States soil and the attackers shared a common goal, which was to destroy our sense of security. The way they destroyed our sense of security during the Japanese attack back in 1941 was to surprise bomb the US Naval ships on the Islands of Hawaii causing disbelief and chaos. In similarity, the attacks of 9/11 were carried out by terrorists using our commercial planes to fly into the World Trade Center while people were going about their daily routines. Men and women prepared themselves for another work day and school children settled in their seats for a day’s lesson. But before the mornings of people’s everyday life could begin, a tragic incident occurred, killing thousands of American citizens and breaking the hearts of many more. B. Others argue that 9/11 had more tragedy than humanity, but they are very mistaken. 9/11 had struck much tragedy, but still others kept people safe and gave them everything they needed. “They spent the next three days in that town, where the mayor and most of the residents cooked elaborate meals, let them use their showers, even borrow their cars. ”(Gander) These people gave the damaged victims hope and safety along with the sense of family.

The first plane hit at 8:46 a.m. and the second at 9:03 a.m., leaving 2,819 people dead. September 11, 2001 will always be remembered as a day of great destruction, a day of great loss. September 11, 2001 was the day two planes flew into the World Trade Center, forever changing the way of life for all of America. On September 11, 2001, an infamous tragedy occurred. Two planes hijacked by terrorists were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and caused both towers to collapse along with the people inside. Later, a third hijacked plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington, Dc. This incident killed thousands and brought America to its lowest of lows. In response, President George W. Bush delivered a speech to America and others from the Oval Office.
The events that occurred on September, 11, 2001 were among the most catastrophic events in American history. The events of the day were summarized as 19 militants associated with the terror group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out targeted attacks in the United States. Out of the four planes, two of them were flown into the World Trade Center in New York, a third one into the Pentagon in Washington and the fourth one crashing off course into a field. The attacks resulted in the deaths of over 3000 people and the beginning of a soon to come American counter terrorism policy and the subsequent invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories.
I. Introduction: A. Attention Getter: Does anyone knows what major event had occurred in USA on September 11, 2001? Hopefully everyone does. Terrorist attacked World Trade Center and Pentagon, and took lives of about 2996 Americans and more than 6000 were wounded or injured. Everyone still has agony of pain from the terrible loss of that day, but remember how were we united and saved lives of many wounded ones.
The big, dark pillars surrounding the big fountain in the middle had names on them. Lots of them. I finally realized what september 11th really meant to the United States. I realized why we had to go outside and stand in silence with my class back in 4th grade. I learned that on that day, about 3,000 people died.
