Benjamin Franklin was not only an inventor and entrepreneur, he was also a hero of the Revolutionary War. Benjamin was a very intelligent man who was not scared to state his opinion. He was born for greatness and France could not have had anyone better than Benjamin himself to lead everyone to victory. Think about it, the war would have been nothing if he did not pull the strings he did for the U.S. Ben Franklin contributed to the Revolutionary War by becoming popular in France, a member of the continental congress, and also persuaded France to aid the U.S.
Without Benjamin becoming popular, he would have never been able to impact the war in the way he did. He lived in France for 10 years which gave time for his popularity to grow all throughout the country. The

in a few different ways. One way being, France lent millions of dollars in aid to the U.S. Another thing France did was let their people volunteer to enlist and fight in the war. Not only did France let their people enlist into a war that was not theirs to fight, but they also let U.S. ships in their harbor.
Benjamin Franklin being a member of the Continental Congress also played a major role in the war as well. It was said, “Franklin was one of five members of the Continental Congress to be put in charge of negotiating a treaty between the U.S. and Great Britain.”(Benjamin Franklin) This took time but some years later all of the the negotiating resulted in The 1783 Treaty of Paris. The 1783 Treaty of Paris was a big deal because it officially ended the Revolutionary War.
France would not be who they are today without Benjamin Franklin being the man he is and helping them the way he did. He was clearly thinking about the bigger picture and just trying to do good for mankind. Imagine what would have become of France if they did not have Ben and his intelligent ways.
