During the Renaissance, Florence had an Oligarchy as the type of Government. This is true because, during the 1400’s, there was no King, Prince, or Duke, which means it can’t be a Monarchy. Instead, I know for a fact that an Oligarchy is run by a few wealthy families, which in this case of florence is true.
She worked hard to change the working conditions for women and children. She succeed in banning children 14 and under from participating in the workforce, creating an eight hour work day, and making a minimum wage. Due to her fight to stop children 14 and under from participating in the workforce and fight to stop abuse in the workplace most likely Florence would not have supported the people who took in the orphans to use them as labor on their farms. She would have wanted to protect the orphans who were being abused in their new homes. Even though some children were put into good homes still wouldn’t outweigh the children who were put into abusive homes.
Italy had a rough roller coaster ride from starting as a group of Nomads and travelers to becoming the largest empire in Western Europe. Italy’s origin comes from the Roman Empire who at the height of its peak was unable to control the entire empire from the Capital. The Roman Empire has multiple different religions that have come and go, the main religion in Italy is Roman Catholic. Italian politics constantly changed until the World War II Era with the execution of Mussolini. Italy is a peninsula shaped like a boot in the Mediterranean Sea, littered with large mountains and hills such as the Alps mountain range.
Rome is the capital city of Italy and was founded in 753 BC. Once the Roman Empire broke down (395 AD) the remaining cities became city states and were separate from each other. The first difference between Primary school in Italy and in Finland is the duration. In Italy is recognised as “primary school” the school period from six to eleven years old, instead in Finland the basic education is a longer process that starts at the age of seven and least until the age of sixteen. That doesn’t mean that in Italy the basic education least less, but the study course is divided in more parts: the end of the compulsory education is for both countries when the child is sixteen years old, but in Finland the basic education is a continuous, organic process, in Italy there is a distinction between the first five years of primary school and the second three years of middle school (first degree secondary school). These groups commanded to shape the future of the southern Peninsula.
When considering Italy after its formation as nation-state in the late 19th century, it has never been required to change by other countries. However, throughout the entire history Italian territory has faced many invasion and battles which have influenced it. But unfortunately, this country has also been involved in cruel events for the purpose of conquering new lands. Some of the most recent terrible actions done by this country were the conquest of African colonies during the Fascism. Indeed, the purpose of these mission in Africa were to destroy other countries such as Libya and Eritrea in order to provide benefits to Italians.
The first reason is Benito Mussolini, who just came to power and became the leader of Italy, decided to turn Italy into a new empire like Roman. The second reason is Italy had ambitions to conquer other countries like Ethiopia and Albania and also seize territories from France in retaliation
World War II affected American society in a positive way. World War II brought the United States out of the Great Depression. The Second World War allowed women, African American, Mexicans and Mexican American, and Native Americans to enroll in the Military.
Around the 1900’s King George VI gave a speech to his country because of hitler 's pompous lies so therefore the King has to speak to his nation and let them be aware of the situation that they all are facing.. Italy entered the Second World War as an ally of the German Reich. But later in 1943, Italy surrendered to the Allies and declared war against Germany. After capitulation of Italy, German forces committed serious breaches of international human rights and of jus cogens norms. These include massacres and deportations of civilians and Italian soldiers, whom were used as labor force in German-occupied territories. After the Second World War Germany tried to compensate for all the crimes, unfortunately a large number of Italians were unable to claim refund and brought civil cases against Germany in front of an Italian Court of Cassatination, with interest to claim it.
