How Did Leonardo Da Vinci Impact Society

“Art is the various branches of creative activity, such as painting, music, literature, and dance” (Google.com). Leonardo da Vinci was a famous artist who not only painted, but also took a deep interest in science and philosophies. Leonardo da Vinci was one of the most influential people during the renaissance period that impacted society. Leonardo da Vinci was a very smart man who changed and impacted society with his magnificent paintings and his brilliant thinking. For instance, “In several different fields, from science to astronomy, he proved to be both innovative and several centuries ahead of his contemporaries” (Pettinger). This simply shows the interests that Leonardo da Vinci shared with society at some point in his lifetime. Leonardo da Vinci loved the science of flying. For this purpose “He used to buy birds just so that he could release them so he could enjoy watching them fly away. He also attempted to build a flying object himself ” (Pettinger). To summarize, Leonardo da Vinci was not only known for his art, but for his passion of flight and engineering. On the other hand, Leonardo did have some weaknesses, even when he was an influential person to society. His writing was very complicated. His writing wasn’t particularly messy, but just hard to read because of his complex notes written on the paper. This great artist did not only teach us something with his art techniques, but also with his expressed feelings hidden or not, in his beautiful paintings. Even Though artists from the renaissance period are long, they left us mindblowing art that still and forever will impact
