The Rennisance was period of enlightment. People thought the world was coming to an end so they expressed themsleves through art. This was a time where people wanted to revolt against the church. This is a time of reformation and a time of giving back peoples rights. The German Renaissance, part of the Northern Renaissance, was a cultural and artistic movement that spread among German thinkers in the 15th and 16th centuries, which developed from the Italian Renaissance.
Leonardo da Vinci was influenced by 3 people. Their names were Lorenzo de’Medici, John Argyropoulos and Andrea del Verrocchio. Lorenzo de’Medici was a powerful patron and payed Da Vinci for art work. John Argyropoulos is a humanists and taught Da Vinci.
The Renaissance movement was the bridge because it was the beginning of individual thought, and appreciation of literature and the arts. People began to think for themselves, people started to come up with many great ideas, rebirth, and cultural expansion. In this time period with your enemies your suppose to be tough and with others be cool, and everyone needed to be good at writing, latin and greek, poetry, speaking and history. As it says in (Document 1). The ideas that have given civilization the drive to rise from a period where the fallow of social, cultural, economical regression.
My answer to this artwork is based on my religious belief as a symbolic moment in the Jesus’ life. Every detail of this painting has a meaning and has a great impact on the Christian religion. I like this work of art because it alludes to the last super, where Jesus shared with his disciples before being betrayed and sacrificed. Leonardo Davinci according with his imagination and ideas, painted the possible reactions of the figures involved in the picture. Their faces and the room was a result of the Leonardo Davinci’s believes, thoughts, creativity and knowledge.

Lorenzo de’ Medici was influential because of his political stance in Florence and the region of Tuscany, so he provided for the city as a whole.
