Why Ozzy Osbourne had the Largest Impact on the Music Industry?
John “Ozzy” Osbourne is an English Rock Star who had a strange, yet interesting life. Ozzy left school early and had many unusual jobs. He obtained his first job while walking down a street when a random man approached him. The man turned out to be looking for a lead singer, and Ozzy thought he was the right man for the job. The two formed an amateur band with a few others landing small gigs here and there. However, this group split so he and one other member left and started a historical band known as “Black Sabbath”. Ozzy became the lead singer of this heavy metal band which released many records and top songs throughout the years. Ozzy, nicknamed “The Prince of Darkness” because of his satanic ways and developing the hatred of mothers. However, he is a Grammy Award Winner for his rock hard music. Ozzy …show more content…

Ozzy had a rough and stern childhood. He was diagnosed with dyslexia and his “peers” made fun of him. Hence, the beginning of his drug and alcohol life. Due to his regular drug and alcohol abuse, Ozzy was released from Black Sabbath and replaced by Ronnie James Dio. Black Sabbath and Van Halen had similar music traits. However, Van Halen swept Black Sabbath off the stage with Van Halens numerous amount of tickets being sold. Ozzy then sought out to follow his career in music by doing solo gigs. He became hated for his crazy antics and critics started to believe that he “encouraged suicide”. Ozzy was named for multiple lawsuits for his music he was condemned of by releasing his hit song, “The Ultimate Sin”. Despite being released from Black Sabbath, Ozzy still had a passion for being on stage and doing what he loved to do. He wrote and released numerous of new songs. He performed solo debuts with his new releases and the public loved them. Ozzy found his first solo top hit “Mama I’m Coming Home” from the album “No More Tears”.
