He was unique and paved a new path, and did not follow rules, but made his own. Jimi Hendrix is one of the most influential rock and roll artists of all time. He was not only great at the guitar but a fashion icon, created a new and innovative sound of rock and broke color barriers by having great success in a white dominated music scene. Jimi Hendrix was born in Seattle, Washington, in 1942. He started playing guitar at 15 when “after seeing Hendrix try to play guitar on a broom, Al bought him a cheap instrument”

Soon after getting to London, the Jimi Hendrix Experience was made. They made 3 albums In 1967 he made his first two Albums Are you Experienced and Axis : Bold as Love, in 1968 they made another album Electric Ladyland. He quickly became popular for his unique style of playing. They toured a lot, and he was known for his amazing performances. His career was short but bright, it was so bright that it made him one of the most influential rock and roll artists ever.
