You might be wondering who “The Beatles” are what they did, how they impacted the U.S. and around the U.S. . “The Beatles” were famous singers that everyone knew about, they became famous in only a couple years after being discovered. They weren’t your simple get together friends, they knew each other from friends friends if that makes sense (basically from other people). John Lennon lead singer of “The Beatles” was born on October 9th, 1940, in Liverpool, Merseyside, England. Around Lennon being 3 to 4 years of age, World War 2 was happening, his parents split up, Lennon then started living with a nanny while his dad was a merchant seaman. After a while, another one of Lennon’s friends joined the band, his name was Stuart Sutcliffe, he was known as the drummer in the band. Stuart Sutcliffe joined in the summer of 1960. Brian Epstein became “The Beatles” manager, he tried to sign them a deal with Decca Records, Decca Records turned “The Beatles” down, but what was odd was that Decca Records sign a lot of other British artists. After that Epstein tried to sign them with other deals, but every label in Europe turned them down. They had one last shot at becoming what they always dreamed, EMI a music studio took them in and held their label. Pete Best was kicked out of the group because a crazy fan had jumped up to grab a piece of his shirt as a souvenir, they kicked him out because of his good looks, but there were also rumors that Pete Best didn’t know his sexuality and that was maybe another reason why he was booted out.
