Without ancient societies, modern civilization would have no basis to build upon. Three of these civilizations—the Mayans, the Aztecs, and the Incas—have done many things for modern civilization. They have developed complex religions, governments, and scourges. Each civilization is unique and has contributed to different advancements in the world. First, the Mayans are a well-known civilization spanning thousands of years. The Mayans were one of the first to make use of the Americas. The Mayans were there before the Aztecs and the Incas, and while settling, they also farmed the land and built a functioning society. The Mayans were known for having classes and professions. The Mayans were often separated by the jobs they had. They also didn't have an emperor, but despite that, they still managed to trade and have wars with other nearby civilizations. Despite being one of the biggest ancient civilizations, the Mayans could not last forever.
