The modern revolution was a time in history and today where humans have gained control of many things for the better or worse. Inventions, medicine, resources... Etc. Have left people with dramatic changes in their daily life. Depending on how people look at situations that have involved the Modern Revolution, it could be for the better of humans or the worse. Based on the eight texts given, modern revolution has had a positive impact on the world. Modern Revolution has had a positive impact on the world die to the medical abilities that have advanced through it. Throughout the years and continuation of years in the Modern Revolution many inventions have been created and worked on. Everything humans use in their daily lives had been created by someone. The graph on text four provides data and examples of inventions and discoveries people have made along with the years they were created. In 1800 the electric battery was made, in 1870 the light bulb, 1897 Asprin, 1950 the credit card, and in 1901 the airplane. (Text 4). This is significant because human beings use these things every day. The light bulb for when it is dark outside, Asprin for a headache, credit cards for buying their food or necessary things in life, and airplanes for travel. Even discoveries that children still learn in school like, reading and writing, the space telescope, and typewriter. Throughout this time period reading and writing became a huge thing. However, in the beginning of the 1800's reading and writing wasn't a big deal. But the Modern Revolution influenced it, it started of with typewriters in 1868, and then moved on the email in 1971. "In 1850 only 10% of the worlds population... Could read and write. Today, nearly 80% of the worlds population are able to do some reading and writing." (Text 3).
