AT&T Inc. is the leading provider of telecommunications services in the United States. AT&T services are wireless, wireline, alarm, digital tv, and internet. AT&T serve customers nationally with a wide-range of mobile and data services. They serve 110 million wireless subscribers as of January 2016. They also have voice coverage in more than 225 countries, and data roaming in more than 210 countries with 3G in more than 170 countries as of January 2016. AT&T successfully merged with DirecTV in 2015 a moved that according the CEO, “Marked an opportunity of the company to change the video entertainment industry.”
AS of 2015, AT&T is the 12th largest company in the United States by total revenue. They are the 3rd largest company in Texas. They are currently the largest non-oil company in Texas.
