The telephone was created by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876. Bell says, “it has revolutionized communications throughout the United States, Britain and the World.” This invention literally changed humanity forever, it revolutionized the way people pass on information. Anywhere from a household to the battlefields, this invention affected so many lives. The steam engine was (re)invented by James Watt in 1769.
Inventors created new product including services. For example, from the textbook, Alexander Graham Bell; his father, Melville; and friend Reverend Thomas Henderson started basic short-distance telephone service between office buildings and warehouses in 1877. The company later became Bell Canada Inc. (Boone, L. E., Kurtz, D. L., Khan, M. H., & Canzer, B. M. (2012).
The invention of the telephone also distant areas. Many inventors were trying to use electricity to send the human voice over wire, but it was Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Watson who succeeded. On March 10, 1876, Bell spoke through his "talking telegraph" to his assistant down the hall. " Mr. Watson, come here. I want you," Bell said.
The cell phone was originally invented in New York City, 1973, by Martin Cooper. Years later in 1979 the cell phone was patented by Charles A Gradde and Martin H (Innovateus.com). In the beginning the cell phone wasn't very popular. Most phones were still attached to a cord indoors, and were unable to be traveled with. Having a portable cell phone was a luxury that didn’t become common until the 1990s and was used mostly for business reasons.
In the world today, people are more focused on their cell phones and other technology than the world outside of them. Technology has given us many new things to make things in life much easier. The invention of the telegraph did not impact our lives more than the cellphone because the telephone was used in the 1880s only for local calling, but with the development in the 1890s of “long lines,” the telephone offered increased competition to the telegraph. Alexander Graham Bell patented the telephone in 1876, initially referring to it as a “talking telegraph.” The invention of the telephone changed the world forever because now you are able to call or send text messages to someone. When you send a message from the telegraph, it may get displaced. “Due to the complexity of the production process, messages were also often lost, with no firm taking responsibility for the mistransmission.”
As many Americans know and were taught in school, Bell is claimed to be the inventor of the telephone. However, there is speculation on whether or not he invented the telephone
When you look or use your smartphone, do you ever wondered when was the first cell phone created or who invented the cell phone? So if they didn't find the phone it would not exist!! Thesis statement Today i'm gonna teleport to 1849 to talk to Alexander Graham Bell to see how he came up with the invention of the Cell Phone When were they invented? www.elon.edu/e-web/predictions/150/1870.xhtml While Italian innovator Antonio Meucci (pictured at left) is credited with inventing the first basic phone in 1849, and Frenchman Charles Bourseul devised a phone in 1854, Alexander Graham Bell won the first U.S. patent for the device in 1876.

In spite of the fact that the phone doesn’t require an electrical outlet, it still uses the essential ideas of electricity going through a wire. Conversations with a friend or relative would require that the people involved would have to be in the same place.
