Conversely, if one were to study music, this allows people to adapt the song into their own style, like a remix, with ease. Most people first listened to Sunflower in theaters of Spider-Man, the success of the movie bringing more people my age and other demographics into the song’s grasp, this is a in a big part to it’s feature in the newest Spider-Man movie; Spider-Man into the Spider Verse generated 30 million and becoming one of the best opening weekends for any animated movie, and having a 8.8 on IMDb critic scores, the film did very well. “…over went on to debut to $35.4 million, finishing first at the box office and marking the best ever December opening for an animated film.” The song was very important at the beginning of the movie as well as the end of the film, giving the audience a double jolt of this catchy tune. However, this song does have a connection with the protagonist, Miles Morales, and his drive to balance his life with love, and being a superhero. (Will get more into symbolism below) Miles needs to find a happy medium, but ultimately fails at this subplot and (spoiler alert) has his uncle pass away because of this failure; Having a girl or an external factor try to “…ride me like a cruise and I'm not tryna lose” into your life can be very detrimental if done incorrectly, this is symbolized by Miles’ powers forcing their way into his day to day work.
