Blaise Pascal Faith is something that everyone in the Annex should have since faith is always with you and there is always enough faith for a person to have. In the play known as “The Diary of Anne Frank Act I - II” the authors, Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett explain the power of a single voice through faith, and it is shown throughout what goes on inside of the story and what happens inside of the story. The text shows us times throughout the story when the characters had faith in the way they spoke to each other. Through the characters actions in the text, they show how they can still have faith. When they started to sing after Mr.Frank asking if they lost all faith which led to Anne starting to sing that was a sign of the characters showing faith. The characters in the text can also show their faith through their emotions. In Act I scene 3, Mr.Frank,Mr.Van Dann, and Mrs. Frank talk about how they won’t have enough food for Mr.Dussel but.. ”[Mr. Frank]: We can stretch the food a little. It’s only for a few days.
