Change is always occurring in the world because nothing truly ever stays the same. Change is inevitable and occurs naturally. Eventually, old traditions will be broken and change into new traditions that will eventually be broken again. Education was bound to intertwine with technology, as almost everything in the world is slowly become technological. Duke University, back in the very beginning of the twenty-first century, used the new iPod to aid in their academics in a process called the iPod Experiment, which was “a start at finding a new learning paradigm of formal education for the digital era” (Davidson 55).
The world that we know is getting more complex, and since technology is advancing, it is making us as a society more dependent on it. Most things nowadays can be conquered by using technology. If you have a question, you can Google it and get the answer in seconds. When you don't want to walk, you can call a lyft, and if you don't have cash, you can use your phone to pay. All of these are examples of how technology has made things easier for us.
In today’s modern society technology plays a huge role in everyday life. Technology has a big position in education. Today students use laptops for school on an everyday basis to take notes, work on assignments, and research. American Education, many people see many advancements, but has there really been advancements? Today, American education has many outcomes, including many skills. There are also many mixed effectiveness of education, some are very bad, some are very good. Along with today’s education we have to talk about past education to understand what we have to change, and even already have changed. It is important to know about what we go to school for, and what American Education is today and the technologies used, the effectiveness of education, and what education was like in the past.

Children should be vaccinated for MMR because it saves a countless number of lives. Certain people can't get vaccines because they suffer from an immunocompromised diseases like leukemia, and thus become more susceptible to contract the viral infection. According to the “U.S. Department of Health & Human Services”, by getting vaccinated an individual " indirectly protects loved ones and communities". This essentially means that by getting vaccinated it limits and conceivably breaks the chain of infection. For example, if an unvaccinated child contracts either Measles, Mumps, or Rubella then he/she can potentially die from these highly contagious viral infections or spread the contagions to other children.
Technology has always been progressing thus it is rampant in our society today. We use technology; depend on technology in our daily life and our needs and demands for technology keep on rising (Ramey, 2012). Wherever you look, you will see people holding different kinds of technology like cell phone, laptop, tablets and etc. It appears to most of us that technology is a necessity to the point where we can no longer live without it. According to Gavin (2013), technology moves at a rapid pace, and can be hard to keep up with at times.
In the classroom, technology can encompass all kinds of tools from low-tech pencil, paper, and chalkboard, to the use of presentation software, or high-tech tablets, online collaboration and conferencing tools, and more. The newest technologies allow us to try things in physical and virtual classrooms that were not possible before. Today, I cannot imagine how difficult it is to teach without technology and how hard it is to learn without it. Technology plays a major part in our lives as students.
